Xherdan Shaqiri, who played for the Reds 63 times during this period, transferred from Stoke City to Liverpool for £13.75 million in the summer of 2018, became the firm address of Olympique Lyon.
An agreement has been reached with the French team for the player, who told Liverpool Coach Jurgen Klopp that he wanted to play more this summer and that the club’s Sporting Director Michael Edwards offered to Lyon.
9.5 MILLION POUNDS
Lyon initially offered £4 million, while Liverpool rejected it. Later on, Lyon shook hands with 9.5 million pounds.
The player also agreed on personal issues with Lyon and the signatures will be signed after the health check.
