Aytemiz Alanyaspor, one of the Super League teams, continued its preparatory work at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Facilities. MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz visited the team at the facilities and offered baklava to the players. During the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Korkmaz and his team were welcomed by Coach Çağdaş Atan and team captains Efecan Karaca and Daniel Candeias.
“We followed and were happy”
Rector Korkmaz, who chatted with the team for a while, expressed his pleasure to host them at MAKÜ Sports Facilities and said:
“We are happy that Alanyaspor, the shining star of the Mediterranean, chose us and camped here. We know Alanyaspor’s achievements and we are proud of it. We have been following their performance and keeping the league ahead for a long time, especially this season, and we are happy with their success in the region. “It can set an example for other teams as well. I think the successful camp process at MAKÜ Sports Facilities will be reflected in the next league as well. We thank them for choosing us.”
“We don’t think it will be a problem”
MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Speaking after Adem Korkmaz asked about the condition of Babacar, who had a heart spasm, coach Çağdaş Atan said:
“There is a commission today, Babacar. If a commission of the federation were a normal person, he could return to work, we hope that he will most likely come back to the commission. We do not think that there will be a problem. We hope that he will join us after he joins that commission in Istanbul. It is life-threatening. or stent, there is no need for surgery. He will just get some medical treatment, so he can continue training.”
