After Emre Akbaba, Aytemiz Alanyaspor finally tied 24-year-old Chidozie Awaziem from Boavista to their colors and closed the transfer season.
The young defender, who also wears the Nigerian National Team jersey, came to Alanya yesterday and signed the official contract. Today, the transfer was announced with the ceremony held at Cengiz Aydoğan Facilities. Answering the questions of the journalists after the ceremony, Alanyaspor President Hasan Çavuşoğlu also evaluated the team squad completed with the transfer of Awaziem.
Emphasizing that the team has a quality staff, President Çavuşoğlu said, “There are players who go and come in a club. There will be players on loan, they will go back, there will be those who do not sign contracts when the term expires. Those who want to go to a bigger club will come. This is the case all over the world. I think it has a better quality football team than the previous year, and its club is richer.
The only problem right now is that the players adapt to each other. When our players adapt to each other, the problems will be solved. Our technical team will provide this as soon as possible. They are doing their work. This is their duty. Afterwards, I believe that our team will reflect the football played and the quality of the players on the field in the best way possible. Hopefully, we will see this together in the coming days,” he said.
