Work on the evacuation of Turkish citizens in Afghanistan continues.
More than 100 Turkish citizens waiting in the safe zone at Kabul Hamid Karzai International Airport were taken to the C-130 Hercules type transport plane of the TAF, which came for evacuation. Among the passengers were 5 health workers who were rescued by the Turkish security forces from the city center where they were stranded.

Turkish citizens boarding the evacuation plane told the AA correspondent about their excitement. Stating that he is happy to return to Turkey, Kadri Güven said, “We are happy. The Republic of Turkey has done its best for the people here. I hope everything will be fine for them as soon as possible.”

Other passengers also thanked the authorities who supported them in returning to Turkey on such a difficult day.
The transport plane of the Turkish Air Force left Kabul in the evening. It was learned that Turkish citizens, who will be taken to Pakistan by transport plane within the scope of evacuation, will be brought to Turkey by plane belonging to Turkish Airlines.
